A Great British Weekend

I do love to visit new places and a weekend away is the perfect opportunity to explore somewhere we have never ventured before. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be.

Rain or shine there is always something for you to do in North Devon. The area is beautiful during all seasons, especially along the coast where it comes alive with people on a sunny day. Rainy days are just as interesting all along the coast the sky looks amazing as the weather drizzles with showers or electrifies with lightening. I can guarantee there will always be something wonderful to absorb.

That is a lot of women suffering with bladder weakness and it should not stop anyone from enjoying a mini break away from home. Pink Clove - Plus Size Fashion Review

I am always on the look out for affordable plus size fashion and recently Pink Clove asked me to take a look at their new arrivals and boy, was I excited to see what a great range of plus size skirts, tops and dresses they have available. I have never shopped there before and I was pleasantly surprised at their great prices, excellent value for money. If you haven't heard of Pink Clove before they offer plus size fashion for women in sizes 16 - 28 and they expertly design clothing to flatter the fuller figure.

Firstly I spotted the 'Plus Jana Shirt Dress with Mock Pocket Detail'. I really like the simplicity of it and the fact that it can be worn on it's own as a dress or teamed with jeans or leggings. This dress is so comfortable, I just love it and a bargain at £20!

My second item is the 'Plus Leena Shirt Dress with Tie Waist in Black'. I knew as soon as I saw this dress that its style would be a flattering shape. It is a bit low cut for me but it could be worn with a cami underneath to cover me up slightly higher. I'm 5ft 2" and the hem line falls just below my knee, which I love. I also like the fabric which would be difficult to crease, so absolutely perfect for packing into a weekend bag or suitcase. An absolute steal at £24!

My third item is the same as the black dress but in a different colour. The 'Plus Gladys Shirt Dress with Tie Waist in Cream' is equally as flattering as the black and this time I teamed it with a pair of flat Mocks. Perfect for shopping or travelling, a very comfy dress, again the fabric is difficult to crease so it always looks freshly pressed. Great price £24!

For less that £75 I have three outfits ready for the summer. Three dress that can be dressed up or down with flats, heels, wedges, jeans, leggings or plain bare legged. The options are endless. Big Thumbs up for Pink Clove from me. I was delighted that all three dresses fitted so perfectly, usually I'd expect at least one of the dresses would not feel quite right or the cut to be unflattering, but I love them all and they will be great to take on my summer holiday this year.

A Day In The Life Of Baby Annabell

Baby Annabell from Zapf Creation is the UK's number one large doll, which doesn't surprise me at all as Annabell has always been the firm favorite baby doll in our house. Just like a real baby Annabell has a full routine from waking up to going to bed.

After a good nights sleep Annabell is awake and ready to get dressed. She has lots of accessories to help like a change of clothes, nappies and a fabulous 2 in 1 baby changing unit that includes space with shelves, an organizer compartment, a clothing hanging rail, a bottle holder and a secret compartment. It also includes a changing mat and a cute sheep night light that plays a lullaby.

Baby Annabell is just like a real baby, with lifelike functions she responds to your touch, cries real tears and enjoys her bottle. I really notice a big difference to the baby Annabell that my older girls played with ten years ago. She still looks similar but her features are much improved and more lifelike. Annabell babbles, giggles and burps after feeding, she is fab.

My ten year old Granddaughter has been taking very good care of Baby Annabell and she even managed to put together the changing unit all by herself with no help from me.

Bottom Line, What Do We Think? Great doll with fabulous accessories Baby Annabell gets a massive thumbs up from The Syders. The doll and accessories kept our Granddaughter and nieces entertained over the Easter holidays. Highly recommend!

Spring Wardrobe With Lyst

Spring is most definitely in the air and the sun has been shining, even if it is still a little chilly I have been looking at various spring dresses. I really like green at the moment and anything floral stands out this time of year.

I have started using a website called Lyst Ltd, which is a fashion tech company based in London and New York where you can create lists of all your favorite items. The more you use the platform, the more it learns about you and your shopping habits so you start to only see things you love! In addition to making a tailored shopping experience, users can also list items to plan their wardrobes and also be alerted when anything they list goes on sale or comes back in stock. Such a convenient idea, I love it!

As you can see I have started my own Spring lyst and my three most favorite items are a Green Floral Print Shirt Dress from OasisShort-sleeve Floral-print Fit & Flare Dress by Ronni Nicole and Pink Arizona Shirt Dress by Reiss. I also chose a few accessories that would compliment each dress in white, shoes, jacket and bag. Perfect for spring and summer.

I love how I can browse and save my favorites or put together a whole outfit to a specifically named list, to go back and find later. It is a great way to shop and brilliant for keeping your items in one place.

Project Mc2 Doll Review

Welcome to the world of Project Mc2, where science meets style and everyone knows its cool to be smart!

A brand new fashion doll from MGA Entertainment, launched last August the same day as the Netflix series of the same name. The range focuses on four main characters each with a different personality, their own sense of style and interests.

The four girls Camryn Coyle, Bryden Bandweth, Adrienne Attoms and Mckeyla McAlister attend Maywood Glenn Academy but are also part of a secret, seriously cool organisation NOV8.

These dolls are fab. I love the fact that they encourage creativity and geek chic for young girls. Most definitely the type of doll I would have loved. My ten year old Granddaughter has been playing with Camryn all week during the Easter holidays and she really likes the fact that its not just a doll, that she can actually build something too. Big Thumbs up from The Syders.
RRP of £14.99.
