Sunshiny Day

What a sunshiny day it is.

The water looked calm and inviting.

As we passed our local we spotted a boat race.

The Quay was bustling.

Alive with watersports

A glorious day

Easter Sunday

The weather here has been beautiful all easter weekend so we decided to make the most of it and have an easter walk to enjoy the fresh air & views
We headed towards the village church

Sat for a while

Read some of the very old grave stones...
Lots of lives have been lost here to the sea

Grab hold of the rope swing

And off you go...

Time for a walk along the Quay...
It is very busy with holiday makers enjoying their Easter break...

And then we get a lovely surprize...
Look what we saw queing for ice cream...

A young man carrying a beautiful bird of prey...

The young man tells us how the Lanner Falcon, named Grub was rescued from a Gypsy last October

"Wow Dad...How cool was that!"

You just never know what you will find whilst out walking...

A Walk Through Appledore

The sun is shining so we went out for a stroll

Considering how warm the weather was the sea waters were surprisingly choppy and out came the sea rescue, wish we knew who they were saving.
It is the Easter break and a time when holiday makers sometimes get into a spot of trouble in the waters

WOW...The waves were crashing and Miss C enjoyed being chased by them

Time for a rest and to move to higher ground and watch

Cheesy smiles papa

silly faces Miss C

Peaceful walk home

Rooftops of London

I love the view as I approach Central London on the train

The rooftops and chimney pots

The famous Gherkin and Even the gritty graffiti

City Landscapes are just as intriguing as the countryside and I cant wait to move back and drag the kids into the city for days out (while I snap away)
